I know how stressful the morning of your session can be. This article will calm your nerves by taking all of the guesswork out!
Pre-Session Info
Weeks before your session, start considering timing for hair, nail, waxing, or other cosmetic appointments. You may need to book in advance! I will not change your hair color, erase your tan lines, or fill your nails during editing.
I can take care of pimples and small marks easily during post-processing, so do NOT irritate them before your session.
Expect to spend 2-3 hours in the studio for your session.
***Start drinking more water than you ever have before - REALLY! It helps with everything from skin clarity and tone to taking off excess water weight and increasing your own stamina.***
This shoot is more of a yoga marathon than anything. Stretch plenty & practice deep breathing from your core.

- If you're like me, timing hair washing and shaving is critical. I have to shave everything the night before, and slather on plenty of lotion to avoid razor burn.
Do you use self-tanner to even those tan lines? I recommend Bondi Sands

Do ***NOT try ANYTHING NEW before your session***, and ask me if you have any questions!

Down to the nitty-gritty - the morning of your session! DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!! (hahahahaha) Grab a healthy, light breakfast with plenty of protein to give your body the energy it needs. If you have any problem areas, put on a little more lotion.
Do not pick or pop blemishes; our beauty team and Photoshop will handle it from here!
Loose pants and a button down shirt are the best to wear. Anything tight will leave a line on the skin, and you don't want to mess up that perfect hair and makeup by taking a shirt off over your head. Nix the bra and undies for the ride over if you're brave enough to avoid all the lines, absolutely no one here will judge a thing!
Here at the studio, I will have snacks and drinks readily available. There's a private bathroom and changing room if you need to use either. I'll have some outfits selected for you, and happily lay out any outfits that you brought!
Post-Session Info
Following your session, I immediately start backing up the RAW files from the camera's memory card to my external hard drives. Once I have the files imported into Lightroom, I can begin the culling process. I try to get you that highly-awaited sneak peek out within a couple of days!
I give myself a full 3 weeks to edit, review, and deliver the full gallery; however, you will typically receive your finished, full-resolution, private Pixieset Gallery, and any extras that you choose to purchase, much sooner!
